Rent a cottage for two in an amazing part of Scotland and have the holiday of a lifetime. There are all kinds of holiday accommodation for couples that could range from an apartment in a castle, a granite cottage in a fishing village, a stone house in the country or a pine lodge, cosy and comfortable.  Whatever type of accommodation you choose, it will be of a high standard. Tourism is vitally important to Scotland and all accommodation owners try to ensure that their guests have a memorable trip  and recommend them to their friends.

Scotland is famous for its scenery, music, its islands, flora and fauna, culture and to a certain extent the its food and drink. Whisky is a world export and perhaps a spirit to become acquainted with during a Scottish holiday, especially in the winter months when its warming properties are appreciated. Salmon, both fresh and smoked appears on Scottish menus. Scottish raspberries are arguably the best and fruit during the summer. You may like to treat yourself to a few meals out whilst holidaying in Scotland or buy in the fresh ingredients to make your own gourmet meals in your Scottish holiday home. Couples on holiday have a great deal of freedom to decide what to do, where and when and we hope that you choose a self-catering holiday for two in Scotland soon. The best times to visit for good weather are May-the end of August. Winters can be extremely cold, however skiing in the Cairngorms could be another possible attraction and Scotland looks magnificent under a coating of sparkling snow.
