Abbotskerswell is a very pretty place to enjoy a Devon cottage break. Many of the properties in the village are built of stone and stand in lawned gardens surrounded by low stone walls that flowering creepers tumble over. Lots of shrubbery makes the streets look green and gentle on the eye. There are also houses in pastel shades and lots of country cottage gardens.  The village is built on the edge of a hill, climb Priory Road, on the edge of the village, to enjoy good views over the fields with cows and Devon countryside.
