Self-catering cottages in Scotland - for touring and exploring this magnificent country. Scotland is a magnificent country to visit with astonishing scenery in the Highlands and where mountains drop steeply to the coast on the west. Explore the granite cliffs and scenery of the east coast of Scotland or go north to Thurso and John O'Groats for extremes.

Southern Scotland and the Scottish Borders are a gentle introduction to Scotland with woodland and pleasant scenery, fishing rivers and solid villages built around a town square.

In Central Scotland, visit Edinburgh,  Glasgow and Stirling for its castle. As you travel further north into Perthshire and the Highlands, the hills become higher and lochs more numerous. This is the Scotland of deer, red squirrels and abundant wildlife.

Visit north east Scotland for splendid coastal scenery, lighthouses and tall cliffs. The north east coast features long beaches backed by dunes that are anchored by marram grass, inland nature reserves and a landscape perfect for bird watching.
