Sussex on the South coast of England can be an attractive option for self catering breaks.  Sussex is made up of East Sussex and West Sussex.  Some people like to explore East Sussex on a self catering cottage break whereas others opt for a stay in West Sussex.  On the East Sussex coast are the coastal resorts of Eastbourne and Brighton.  Inland in East Sussex is the town of Lewes which holds excellent fireworks displays on bonfire night.   In West Sussex there is the city of Chichester and the coastal resort of Bognor Regis.  Sussex has lots to offer whether you are opting to spend time by the coast or in the country.
