If you’re after a peaceful country cottage in the very heart of Scotland’s Angus county, consider staying at Nantusi Cottage. It’s a delightful country cottage whose three bedrooms and two bath-rooms make it an ideal size for both families and groups of friends. It can comfortably accommo-date a total of six people and since it’s pet friendly, you can bring along your dog as well. Two of the bedrooms are doubles (one is on the ground floor) and the third is a twin. As for the bathrooms the upstairs one has a shower and WC, while the downstairs one has a second WC for guests’ conven-ience, plus a shower/bathtub combination. The kitchen is fully fitted and blends in seamlessly with both the living and dining areas thanks to the downstairs open plan design, which gives the cottage a very spacious feel to it. Off-road parking is available and there’s enough spaces for three cars in total.

While staying here, you have shared access to the garden, which comes with a patio area complete with BBQ facilities. If you’re keen to explore the area, you'll find the hamlet is a great spot for both walking and cycling thanks to its charming countryside scenery. A short drive away is the town of Kirriemuir, which serves as the gateway to the Angus Glens, five unspoiled valleys that are part of the Cairngorms National Park; they’re well worth visiting if you’re keen to discover some of Scot-land’s most breathtaking natural landscapes. Kirriemuir has plenty of local shops, restaurants and museums to discover and is known as the birthplace of the novelist and playwright J.M.Barrie, the author of Peter Pan.
